Halloween Parade!

Last night I went to the EXTREMELY CRAZY halloween parade! WOO! It was CRAZY!  I went as a mime with mi amiga Maxine! She was an indian! So we got to the parade, and it was packed to the max! no breathing room, no moving room..It was packed, so I decided to get out of the crowd, and BE PART OF THE PARADE! I walked with the people in parade, and got some funky fun shots!

City life

Breakdancing Competition!

I went to this Breakdancing competition that was AMAZING!  Max is an awesome breakdancer I met in the City.  I told him I wanted to take photos of him, because he was such a great dancer.  He called me later that week and told me about this competition.  People from China, Russia, Isreal, EVERYWHERE were there.  Thank you so much Max! you are an awesome person, and I shall see you soon!

Rocky Horror Picture Show

Last week I went to see the Rocky Horror picture show with a bunch of fun people from school.  It was quite the experience.  There was crazy dancing, people in outrageous outfits, It was total mayhem, I LOVED IT! I also was a winner that night of a contest...you will only be able to find out what I was a winner of if you go to the show some time! So I insist, GO SEE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW!

Construction

I was walking back to mu dorm from the city at 11:45 pm.  As I was walking I spotted some construction workers.  I just thought to myself how wonderful the dust from the concrete, the spot light, and the laboring constructors looked together.  I went to my room and got my film camera, then ran back to the sight,  and took some shots.  They were all mucho mucho generous, and found it humorous I wanted to take photos of them. I then headed back to the dorms.  As I was heading back I realized I wanted to shoot digital also!...Lets just say, the construction mission wasn't finished till 1:27 am in the morning!   

Fashion Week 2010!

Another year in New York City during fashion week! CRAZY! I could not stop taking shots of this one Gorgeous model.  There were so many makeup artists surrounding her and "creating" the desired look for the show.  Her face was an open canvas for the artists of makeup! Magnificent!  

Union Square

Yesterday was a fantastically beautiful day!  Early that morning I went to Central Park to take engagement photos of a wonderful couple.  Excitingly and very luckily, the photos will be in the New York Times soon!  Then I met up with my sister, Lydia, for lunch.  As I told her yesterday, I love her more than Cookie monster loves cookies!  After that I went with some lovely ladies to Union Square and took a shot a Future chest champion in action.   

Central Park

I wanted to do a shoot somewhere with nature of some wonderfully beautiful people! Thank you Aden, Marianne, and Joyce! You all are gorgeous.  So i decided to shoot at central park... that is about as much nature as New York City holds.

Behind stage of Fashion Week!

I was sneaky sneaky, and was able to get into a show during Fashion Week with my film and digital camera! These are film shots of the lovely ladies getting ready for the show.

Fashion Week!

As I was walking one day I saw a long line for a Fashion show during fashion week.  I decided that it wouldn't hurt to try and get in.  I went to the security guard and showed him my camera, and told him I was there to take photographs, I also mentioned a security guard inside said I would be allowed in if I showed someone a wrist band that meant I could go inside... this wrist band had been on my wrist for a day already from a concert... Boy was I lucky!

I moved to the city for school, and was surrounded by a new world.  Full of energy, people, and excitement!
